Education & Learning Weekly AI News

December 8 - December 16, 2025

This weekly update covers exciting changes in education as schools and universities start using agentic AI—smart computer helpers that can think and make decisions on their own. Arizona State University is working with a company called Grammarly to create AI helpers that can help students with writing and learning. These AI helpers can work together and solve real problems instead of just answering simple questions. At the University of Florida, business students are learning how to use these smart AI systems to solve real company problems. The good news is that teachers and students are working together to make sure AI is used in the right way in schools. A new group called the Agentic AI Foundation was also created to help make sure these AI systems are open, fair, and work well for everyone. These changes show that education is moving into an exciting new time where AI and humans work together to make learning better.
