Large companies like Block, which is a financial services company, cut 4,000 jobs – nearly 40% of their workforce. At the same time, companies are struggling to make their AI agents work properly, with only 30% of assigned tasks actually completed successfully.

Workers are also feeling nervous because companies are making these big changes without always preparing employees for new types of jobs. Only 4% of workers are using AI for most of their daily tasks, but companies are demanding faster and faster work. The biggest worry for employees is that nobody really knows what jobs will look like in a few years, and companies aren't doing enough to train workers for these changes.
