The company is already doing this in some places. In Wyoming, for example, Microsoft worked with the local electricity company to make sure the computer center didn't hurt local families' bills. In Wisconsin, Microsoft is helping create a special electricity plan for big users like data centers.

These changes show how AI infrastructure is becoming an important part of modern city planning. The technology can help cities become smarter and more efficient, but companies also need to think about the people who live in those cities.
