## Weekly signal Agentic AI is moving from isolated experiments into enterprise-grade automation stacks: platform vendors shipped tighter governance, orchestration, and developer paths that let agents act (not just suggest) inside business workflows. Expect more connectors, multi-agent coordination, and first-class support for "coding agents" in production pipelines this week.

## What changed - Microsoft published Copilot Studio's April updates (May 11): Agent 365 reached general availability, admin roles (Analytics Viewer), agent nodes inside deterministic workflows, apps-in-agents (actionable UI inside Copilot Chat), Work IQ preview, and expanded cost/usage forecasting — all aimed at making agents operational and governable at scale.

- UiPath announced "UiPath for Coding Agents" (May 12): the platform now treats code produced by coding agents as first-class artifacts with built-in orchestration, CI/CD readiness, role-based access, audit trails, and initial integrations for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. The vendor also rolled agents and related services into Automation Cloud Dedicated on May 12, making agentic services available for isolated, compliance-constrained deployments.

- Salesforce published its Summer ’26 release (May 11): Agentforce adds multi-agent orchestration, Tableau MCP for grounded analytics, new out-of-the-box domain agents (IT, customer engagement, collections), Slack-first workflows, and a host of agentic sales/service features targeting faster time-to-value. Available June 15.

- Notion launched its Developer Platform (May 13): Workers (sandboxed serverless runtime), Database Sync, an External Agent API, and a CLI so external/coding agents can become first-class workspace participants — enabling multi-step automations that combine custom code, live data, and internal agents.

- Freshworks unveiled Freddy AI Agent Studio at its Refresh conference (May 14): a no-code agent studio inside Freshservice with prebuilt domain agents, governance controls, handover settings, and a phased rollout (Growth/Pro access began May 14). Freshworks positions this for ServiceOps automation (IT/HR workflows).

## What to do with it 1) Inventory candidate workflows where agents can act end-to-end (ticket triage, contract routing, lead qualification). Start with low-risk, high-frequency processes. 2) Prepare your integration surface: publish scoped, authenticated APIs or an MCP-style gateway so agents can safely invoke business actions. Notion, UiPath, and Salesforce releases show vendor momentum for MCP-like patterns. 3) Build an "agent acceptance" pipeline: automated tests, policy gates, audit logging, and progressive trust (human-in-loop → limited autonomy → wider autonomy). Use Copilot Studio admin controls and UiPath governance as models. 4) Measure upfront: track agent-level SLAs, cost (credit/usage estimators), error rates, and handover frequency. Invite business stakeholders into read-only analytics roles.
