Human-AI Synergy Weekly AI News

November 17 - November 25, 2025

This week showed how artificial intelligence (AI) and people are working together in exciting new ways. A special kind of AI called agentic AI is becoming popular because it can make decisions and do tasks by itself, kind of like a helpful computer teammate.

The biggest event this week was the OMP Miami Conference on November 18 and 19. Business leaders from companies like Johnson & Johnson, Land O'Lakes, and Kraft Heinz talked about how AI agents help supply chains work better. Supply chains are the paths that products take to reach stores. Companies showed real stories about how AI helped them work faster and smarter.

AI is also changing medicine and healthcare. Microsoft announced the Healthcare Agent Orchestrator, a smart tool that helps doctors. This AI does boring computer work so doctors can spend more time helping patients. A company called Atropos created an AI Evidence Agent that answers medical questions and helps doctors make better decisions about taking care of sick people.

Universities are excited about AI too. Tennessee Tech announced on November 21 that they will start a new college degree just about AI starting in fall 2026. This makes them the first university in Tennessee to offer a full four-year degree focused on AI.

Big technology companies like Google and Anthropic are making AI smarter. Claude and Gemini models are getting new powers that help them work as AI agents. Cognizant, a large technology company, is giving almost 350,000 workers access to these AI tools. Google is working on Gemini 3, which experts think will come out before the end of 2025.

Researchers from MIT and Boston made an important discovery about AI. They found that AI agents are different from regular chatbots. Chatbots just give you ideas and stop, but AI agents keep working to solve problems like real team members. About 62 percent of companies are already trying out AI agents.

Aga Khan University in Pakistan held a special conference on November 19 where teachers and workers talked about how AI will change the future of work. They discussed what skills people need to learn to do well with AI in their jobs.
