Agent Collaboration Weekly AI News

February 16 - February 24, 2026

Many big companies are working together to create AI agents that can do jobs all by themselves. An AI agent is a computer helper that can think and plan, then do a whole task without needing a person to tell it every single step. This week, the United States government announced new rules to help these agents work safely and work together. Companies like Anthropic and Infosys said they are teaming up to build AI agents for banks, phone companies, and factories. Another company called Asymbl is working with Salesforce to let people and AI agents work as teammates. Samsung is adding more AI agents to its phones so people can pick which helper they want to use.

Businesses are getting excited because agentic AI can do work much faster and better. One study showed that companies using these AI helpers get 20% more work done. Some of the best uses are in customer service, where AI agents answer questions without a human helper, and in IT work, where agents watch computers and fix problems on their own. But companies are nervous about whether these agents are safe and trustworthy. Many businesses say the biggest worry is keeping their information private and secure. Even though there are worries, many companies are already testing these AI agents to see how they can help their business.
