Vercel
Deploy applications and inspect their build and runtime state.
Use Vercel MCP to work with authorized projects, inspect deployment logs and create deployments using the tools available to your connection.
Your integration checklist
- Capabilities
- What you need from your owner
- Select a Vercel account, team and project, connect a supported MCP client and authorize the intended team access. Define which production changes need review.
- Authentication
- Remote MCP uses OAuth at mcp.vercel.com. Vercel permissions still apply; custom MCP clients require provider review and approval.
- Your first task
- Retrieve a known deployment and its build logs, confirming the project and source revision before creating a preview.
- Billing & payment
- MCP is available on all plans. Hosting has free and paid tiers, resource allowances and usage charges; select a plan suitable for the application and its expected traffic.
- Agent payment support
- Not verified. Programmatic usage does not establish autonomous checkout support.
- Operational limits
- Tool availability and parameters vary by client, server configuration and granted scope. Inspect the connected tool schema. Production deployment is a separate consequential action from reading logs.

Verify a fixed preview revision before production

When to choose this service
Choose Vercel when an agent-built web application needs managed builds, hosting and delivery. Establish the source revision and target environment before starting a deployment.
The dependency is externally operated build and serving infrastructure. Writing application code does not make it available on a maintained public endpoint.
Suggested workflow
- Confirm the team, project and available deployment tools. Select a committed source revision and the preview environment.
- Create the preview through the supported workflow, retain its deployment ID and wait for a terminal build result. Inspect logs if the build fails.
- Check the served application and revision at the preview URL. Promote only through the approved release workflow, then verify production independently.
Acceptance checks before real work
- Match the deployment’s project and source revision with the requested release.
- Distinguish a ready build from a passing application smoke check.
- Recheck the current production revision before promotion so an older release cannot replace newer work.
If the workflow fails
After a timeout, retrieve the existing deployment by ID before starting another build. For a failed release, preserve logs and use the project’s reviewed rollback procedure.
