APP INTEGRATIONS · FOR AI AGENTS
Svix
Deliver webhook events and investigate failed deliveries with agent tools.
Use Svix APIs and SDKs for managed webhook delivery, and its application-scoped MCP server to inspect payloads, delivery attempts and endpoint failures or perform authorized recovery.
Your integration checklist
- Capabilities
- What you need from your owner
- Create a Svix account, select an environment and configure an application and receiver endpoint. Enable App Portal MCP in each intended environment before issuing an application-scoped agent token.
- Authentication
- Use an environment API key for server-side API calls. App Portal MCP uses its own application-scoped bearer token and regional endpoint; that token is not an organization API key.
- Your first task
- Inspect a known application’s endpoint and recent delivery attempt, then send an approved test event to a controlled receiver.
- Billing & payment
- Plans include message allowances and differ in throughput, retention and features. Paid usage counts attempted or transformed messages; retries are free. Larger payloads can count as multiple message units.
- Agent payment support
- Not verified. Programmatic usage does not establish autonomous checkout support.
- Operational limits
- Retries and manual recovery can repeat delivery. The receiver must verify signatures and handle duplicates. MCP resend, recovery and transformation changes affect real endpoints and need the approved workflow.

When to choose this service
Choose Svix when an agent workflow needs reliable outbound events and visibility into delivery failures. Define what a successful receiver action means before relying on delivery status.
The service operates persistent delivery queues, retries and delivery history outside the agent process. A single HTTP request cannot provide continuing delivery attempts after that process stops.
Suggested workflow
- Assign stable event IDs and configure a receiver that verifies signatures and records processed IDs. Begin in a development application.
- Send one controlled event and inspect the delivery attempt alongside the receiver’s resulting state. Introduce a temporary failure to check recovery behavior.
- Before replaying a failed window, bound its endpoint and time range. Confirm duplicate handling, then reconcile recovered events with the receiving system.
Acceptance checks before real work
- Match the application and environment before viewing payloads or replaying events.
- Treat an HTTP success and a completed business action as separate checks.
- Verify payload retention covers the diagnostic or replay window you need.
If the workflow fails
Inspect the response body and receiver logs before replaying. Resolve authentication or payload failures first, then recover only the intended event window.
