Customer Service Weekly AI News

February 23 - March 3, 2026

Artificial intelligence is changing how companies help their customers. AI agents are computer helpers that answer questions and solve problems without needing a human to do the work. This week, we learned that more companies are using these smart helpers. A startup company called Burger King in the United States started testing special AI headsets that listen to workers and help them do their jobs better. The headsets can even listen for kind words like "welcome" and "thank you" to help managers see which workers are being friendly to customers. At the same time, more people around the world are starting to use AI agents to talk with companies. Right now, about one out of five customers uses AI agents, but by the end of this year, almost half of all customers might be using them. Companies in different areas like stores, banks, and doctors' offices are getting ready for this change. The numbers show that AI is really good at helping customers quickly. When companies use these AI helpers, nine out of ten company leaders say they save money and help customers faster. Some AI systems can answer so many easy questions that they reduce the number of calls by seventy percent, which means fewer workers need to answer the phone.
