Agent Collaboration Weekly AI News

March 9 - March 17, 2026

This weekly update shows how AI agents are learning to work together. Big technology companies like Microsoft, Google, and Meta are building systems that let AI agents talk to each other and help companies get more work done. Many companies want to use these AI agents, but most are not ready yet. About 76 percent of businesses say they don't have the right setup to use AI agents well. The good news is that companies are creating tools and marketplaces to make it easier. For example, Meta bought a social network where AI agents can share code and ideas with each other. Nvidia and other companies are also building open platforms so different AI agents can work on tasks together. Mastercard launched a new service to help businesses build and test their own AI agents. By the end of 2026, experts think 40 percent of business software will have AI agents working inside it. This is a huge jump from less than 5 percent today. The shift toward agent collaboration is happening because companies need to do more work with the same number of people. AI agents that can work together and make decisions on their own are becoming the next big change in technology.
