Agent Collaboration Weekly AI News
June 9 - June 17, 2025The past week brought exciting advances in how AI agents work together to solve real-world problems. Accenture and NVIDIA unveiled their physical AI SDK, a toolkit that lets machines understand camera feeds and sensor data. This technology is already being tested by KION, a German warehouse company, to improve safety and track packages in factories. "This SDK helps our robots talk to each other like teammates," said KION’s CTO CP Quek.
Workday launched an AI Agent Partner Network, connecting major tech players like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft. This network acts like a shared workplace where different AI tools can access the same data, making it easier to manage employees’ schedules and training across companies. Accenture, part of this network, called it "a universal language for digital workers".
Developers got powerful new tools with Microsoft AutoGen v0.4, which introduced Model Context Protocol (MCP). This lets AI agents from different platforms (like chatbots and image generators) share information smoothly. Tech firms in Bengaluru, India used this to cut software testing time by 30%. Deloitte’s Jitendra Dulhani compared it to "a relay race where each agent passes tasks flawlessly".
Small businesses aren’t left out—Zapier now integrates with Anthropic’s AI, allowing shops and blogs to automate tasks across 8,000 apps. A bakery owner could use this to have AI track flour orders and schedule social media posts without writing code.
In healthcare, NVIDIA and Novo Nordisk (based in Denmark) are building AI agents to find new medicines faster. These agents can analyze millions of chemical combinations, shortening drug discovery from years to months. A Novo Nordisk researcher said, "It’s like having 1,000 lab assistants working at once".
Retail saw wins too: H&M’s AI shopping helper resolved 70% of customer questions automatically, boosting sales by 25%. Meanwhile, 88% of executives in Singapore plan to increase AI budgets, with many companies in Malaysia and Indonesia using mixed human-AI teams for tasks like inventory management.
For newcomers, experts advise starting with free SDKs like AutoGen or no-code tools. "Think of AI agents as digital coworkers," said a Singapore tech guide. "They handle boring tasks so you can focus on big ideas." With global adoption rising, this week proved that AI collaboration isn’t just for tech giants—it’s changing how we all work.
