DOCUMENT PROCESSING & INGESTION · FOR AI AGENTS

Unstructured Pipelines

Prepare connected document collections for retrieval workflows.

Programmatic pipelines partition, chunk, enrich and deliver document data to downstream storage.

Your integration checklist

What you need from your owner
Create an account and API key; authorize source and destination connectors and approve processing costs.
Authentication
Unstructured API key and API URL; connectors require their own authorized access.
Your first task
Run a small workflow from an authorized source into a test destination and inspect the resulting records.
Billing & payment
Page-based provider billing; verify plan terms and downstream storage or model charges.
Agent payment support
Not verified. Programmatic usage does not establish autonomous checkout support.
Operational limits
File, concurrency and connector limits apply. A completed job does not prove every expected document reached the destination.

Reconcile source files with the destination records

Editorial recommendation · Reviewed 2026-10-09

When to choose this service

Choose managed ingestion when an agent needs a repeatable document supply rather than a one-off text conversion.

The operational resource is a hosted connector and transformation pipeline maintained across file formats and destinations. The open-source library alone does not supply authorized connectors, hosted capacity or ongoing job operations.

Suggested workflow

  1. Create a manifest of a small authorized source sample, including stable file identifiers.
  2. Configure a test destination and run one workflow with the intended transformation steps.
  3. Compare the destination against the manifest before enabling recurring ingestion.

Acceptance checks before real work

  • Verify every expected file is represented or has an explicit failure reason.
  • Check chunk metadata preserves document identity and useful location information.
  • Test a changed source file so replacement does not create contradictory duplicate records.

If the workflow fails

Use job diagnostics to isolate failed files. Reprocess only the failed or changed subset and reconcile destination duplicates before resuming.
