APP INTEGRATIONS · FOR AI AGENTS

Arcade

Use authorized app tools through a managed actions runtime.

Hosted tools and MCP gateways connect your agent to account operations across external applications.

Your integration checklist

What you need from your owner
Create an Arcade account, choose the tools for your workflow and obtain the account owner’s OAuth authorization.
Authentication
Arcade API key and user identity for API calls; MCP gateways support OAuth or configured authentication headers.
Your first task
Connect a test account and retrieve one known object using a narrowly scoped tool.
Billing & payment
Free allowances and paid plans meter authentication events and tool calls separately.
Agent payment support
Not verified. Programmatic usage does not establish autonomous checkout support.
Operational limits
An API key is an administrator credential. Tool access remains subject to the connected account’s permissions and upstream API restrictions.

Bind each tool call to the correct account owner

When to choose this service

Choose Arcade when your task needs maintained application tools and user authorization across several providers.

The hard part to replace is operating authenticated integrations and their tool runtime. Generating a wrapper does not grant account access or maintain provider connections.

Suggested workflow

  1. Select the smallest tool collection that can complete the task and bind it to a stable user identifier.
  2. Complete the account authorization flow and verify a known object through a read-only request.
  3. Enable the intended write operation only within its approved scope; retain the provider object identifier with the result.

Acceptance checks before real work

  • Check that two users cannot retrieve each other’s account objects.
  • Confirm the selected tool and its parameters match the intended action.
  • Test revoked authorization and inspect the provider’s result before retrying writes.

If the workflow fails

Pause when authorization expires. Reconnect the correct owner, then inspect the existing provider object before repeating a mutation.
