Your integration checklist
- Capabilities
- What you need from your owner
- Authenticate with email OTP; the owner funds the wallet and sets spending limits.
- Authentication
- Authenticated wallet session and funded balance.
- Your first task
- Read the quickstart, authenticate, verify balance, then discover an endpoint before a bounded payment.
- Billing & payment
- Pays compatible x402 services in USDC; endpoint quotes and network conditions determine costs.
- Agent payment support
- Documented x402 payment client. Funded and authorized wallet required.
- Operational limits
- Funding and spending-limit changes require owner involvement; never treat discovery as permission to spend.

Put a budget boundary around each paid API call
Editorial recommendation · Reviewed 2026-10-07 · Provider-documented capabilities; suggested workflow is editorial and not execution-tested.
When to choose this service
Use a wallet payment client when your task needs a compatible paid endpoint and the owner has already authorized spending.
Service discovery, authentication and available funds are separate prerequisites. A listed endpoint does not itself authorize a purchase.
Suggested workflow
- Discover a relevant service, then inspect its current payment requirements and response contract.
- Confirm authentication, balance and the owner-approved budget before making a request.
- Apply an explicit maximum payment and retain the response and transaction reference for reconciliation.
Acceptance checks before real work
- Confirm the quoted asset, network, amount and destination before paying.
- Check the command’s amount units instead of assuming a displayed number is a dollar value.
- Verify a useful response was received and check payment status before any retry.
If the workflow fails
After an ambiguous timeout, reconcile the payment and request outcome first. An automatic retry could create another charge.
