Perplexity Decider v1.1 27B · Gateway
Sort support tickets, review images or score records against choices you define. This is the new v1.1 Gateway offer; its quality has not been independently compared here.
First reviewed 2026-10-15 · Checked 2026-10-15. The launch date has not been confirmed.
We still need comparable independent tests. You can compare the confirmed features and limits below, but we cannot yet give this version an Agent Fit or Practical Value rating. Test it on records with known answers, including cases that should go to a person.
What you can use today
Token prices measure the small pieces of text the model reads or produces. Capacity is the amount the service accepts in a request; check the limits below for any fallback to another model. A dash means the rate is unverified.
Exact AI Gateway route ID: perplexity/pplx-decider-v1.1-27b. Gateway lists text and image input for classification, routing and scoring. The provider reports improvements on its own decision tests; these are vendor results, not a general-chat score or a measured thinking-effort comparison.
Use the exact v1.1 Gateway ID. The existing native quickstart still names v1; its question limit and billing details are not assumed to apply to this new offer.
Gateway lists 262,144 context tokens. Its maximum question count is not confirmed. The downloadable version’s supplied code has an 8,192-token limit; that is a different serving setup.

Gateway lists $0.02 per million input tokens and zero output-token price. This is half the older v1 native API input quote, but billing details and quality differ; compare actual usage on the same records. Use actual billed usage and the model named in each response to check your estimate.
