Gyro S / M / L · local variants

Choose a smaller download format for running Qwen3.8 Flash Next locally. S, M and L offer different memory requirements; compare them on your own mix of writing and coding.

First reviewed 2026-10-26 · Checked 2026-11-03. The launch date has not been confirmed.

We still need comparable independent tests. You can compare the confirmed features and limits below, but we cannot yet give this version an Agent Fit or Practical Value rating. Try it on your hardware and tasks before relying on it.

What you can use today

You download the model files and supply the hardware and software to run them. Capacity is the amount of information a request can contain; settings and available memory can limit what fits.

Exact download ID: agentionai/Qwen3.8-Flash-Next-Gyro-GGUF. S, M and L are compressed versions of the same base model, not three new base releases. Image input needs the separate vision file and a compatible runtime. Older and newer files can share a name: save the repository revision with your tests.

Use a compatible AgentionAI, Strata or strix-llama.cpp build. Standard llama.cpp cannot load the format, and support differs by variant. The Qwen Community License includes extra conditions for commercial model hosting and coding/work-assistant businesses.

Publisher GPU-weight figures are 27.64 GiB for S, 34.98 GiB for M and 50.21 GiB for L. Allow additional memory for the request, vision components and optional draft model; the weight size alone does not tell you what fits.

Local hardware and electricity costs depend on your setup. The large lookup table can stay on a fast NVMe drive, so download size is greater than the GPU-weight figure. Vendor speed and quality claims are not independent scores here.
