Gyro-Coder · local coding variants
Try local coding on a 24GB or 32GB graphics card. These compressed, coding-focused versions of Qwen3.8 Flash Next trade broader knowledge for a smaller memory requirement.

We still need comparable independent tests. You can compare the confirmed features and limits below, but we cannot yet give this version an Agent Fit or Practical Value rating. Try it on your hardware and tasks before relying on it.
What you can use today
You download the model files and supply the hardware and software to run them. Capacity is the amount of information a request can contain; settings and available memory can limit what fits.
Exact download ID: agentionai/Qwen3.8-Flash-Next-Gyro-Coder-GGUF. Choose Coder for a 24GB card or Coder-L for 32GB. Give clear tasks such as fixing a specific bug or implementing a function. They retain half of the original model’s specialist components; they are variants, not new base models.
Requires AgentionAI’s compatible runtime; standard llama.cpp cannot load these files. The Qwen Community License has additional conditions for commercial model hosting and coding/work-assistant businesses. Check those terms before offering a service. Coder-L v1.2 replaces the file with the same name on October 29 to address tool-call formatting and symbols. Save the repository revision; the reported improvements are publisher tests, not a new base-model release.
The publisher’s Coder example uses 65,536 context tokens and about 21.1 GiB of GPU memory. Longer requests and other settings can need more memory; this example is not a maximum context guarantee.
Coder takes 70.6 GiB on disk despite using 19.92 GiB for GPU weights; Coder-L takes 78.2 GiB on disk and 27.54 GiB for GPU weights. Keep the large lookup table on a fast solid-state drive (NVMe). These are publisher figures, not our hardware tests.
