We still need comparable independent tests. You can compare the confirmed features and limits below, but we cannot yet give this version an Agent Fit or Practical Value rating. Test it on your own tasks before switching; results for another version or thinking setting may not apply.
What you can use today
Token prices measure the small pieces of text the model reads or produces. Capacity is the amount the service accepts in a request; check the limits below for any fallback to another model. A dash means the rate is unverified.
Exact provider API ID: giotto-model. The documented Responses interface accepts text and offers medium or high thinking effort; the client defaults to medium. Event streaming reports completed workflow events rather than each text token. Independent quality and effort comparisons are pending.
The API page advertises Alto and uses the request alias giotto-model. This is not a pinned version identifier. Access requires account activation and a credential for the selected subscription or token-credit product. Private GPU deployment is arranged through sales; no public weight download is verified.
An exact public context window and answer-length limit are not established.
The website’s USD selector shows $2.47 input, $0.25 cache reads, $12.35 output and $2.47 cache writes per million tokens. Its default EUR display is €2.10/€0.21/€10.50/€2.10 respectively. Confirm the checkout currency and applicable plan; do not treat display conversions as a guaranteed future exchange rate. Allow for retries and any tool fees. Models that think before answering may also charge for that work.

Give each model the same examples, tools and definition of success. Record correct outcomes, response time, retries and total cost. A cheaper token price does not guarantee a cheaper completed task.
