Elorian Glimpse

Analyze charts, follow objects in video or count items in images. Glimpse is a research preview for visual questions; its maker’s comparisons use tools and settings that differ across models, so they are not a like-for-like quality ranking here.

We still need comparable independent tests. You can compare the confirmed features and limits below, but we cannot yet give this version an Agent Fit or Practical Value rating. Test it on your own tasks before switching; results for another version or thinking setting may not apply.

What you can use today

Token prices measure the small pieces of text the model reads or produces. Capacity is the amount the service accepts in a request; check the limits below for any fallback to another model. A dash means the rate is unverified.

Exact AI Gateway route ID: elorian/glimpse. Gateway accepts text, images and video and lists low, medium and xhigh thinking. Elorian’s published evaluations use a separate max setting and built-in visual tools; do not assume those tools or max effort are exposed by Gateway.

Available thinking settings: low, medium, xhigh. We do not yet have comparable independent results for these settings. The default applied when a request omits effort is unverified.

Elorian offers a web app and API. Gateway’s exact ID is elorian/glimpse; the native API ID is not yet verified.

Gateway lists 220,000 context tokens and 4,096 maximum output tokens. These limits describe that hosted offer.

Gateway lists $0.60 input, $0.06 cached input and $3 output per million tokens. Elorian’s launch also quotes $0.60 input and $3 output; native caching terms are not established. Allow for retries and any tool fees. Models that think before answering may also charge for that work.

Test it before switching

Give each model the same examples, tools and definition of success. Record correct outcomes, response time, retries and total cost. A cheaper token price does not guarantee a cheaper completed task.
