Google unveiled its Agent Development Kit (ADK), an open-source framework for building multi-agent systems, alongside the Agent2Agent (A2A) protocol enabling secure inter-agent communication across enterprise apps like Salesforce and MongoDB. Concurrently, GitHub Copilot launched agent mode in VS Code, allowing AI to autonomously debug, suggest terminal commands, and refactor code across entire projects.
