A tool that generates Visual AI code from prompts, enabling rapid development of vision-enabled applications.

VisionAgent

This is VisionAgent from LandingAI. As of this recording VisionAgent is freely available as an early access open-source project. Its purpose is to generate code to solve your vision problem with simple prompts. It's a tool for developers to get vision-enabled apps to production faster.

As the name implies, under the hood there are multiple agents able to reason through and complete specific vision tasks by accessing an extensive toolkit. 

Here are a few examples. For each one you'll see the original chat instruction, the code that VisionAgent generated, and the final output.

The instructions: Here is an image of a race event with runners wearing bib numbers. Can you write code to return the bib numbers of the runners in the images along with the corresponding cropped faces? Return a python dictionary with bib number, cropped face and image path as keys.

The instructions: Track the path of the cue ball in white. Draw a wide partially transparent white line showing the path of the cue ball's movement. Keep the line superimposed on the video until the end of the video.

The instruction: Can you track both people and sharks in this video? 

Save a video with the tracked masks of both sharks and people and draw a line between the shark and the closest person with the distance above it. 

Use 13 pixels equal 1 meter and a frame per second 10.

You might be wondering how using VisionAgent differs from typing the same request directly into an LLM. 

There are three important distinctions.

First. VisionAgent is actually a collection of multiple purpose-built agents - one to do planning, one to write code, one to evaluate code, and several more. 

Second. VisionAgent selects from a highly curated library of tools.

These include open-source image and video models and also LandingAI custom models, LandingAI pre-trained models, visual AI functions, selected APIs and more.

Lastly VisionAgent provides one-click deployment to a web API or Streamlit application where LandingAI manages the infrastructure and hosts the model for cloud inference. You can try VisionAgent in two different ways.
