This video will show you the most optimal flow to create AI chatbot for website. This flow even works with large websites when other ways of building AI bot either fail or do not deliver optimal result. We will use Skydis platform to build AI assistant. As you can see, the platform is super simple. So let's start by clicking create new. 

Here we need to fill in the name. This will be visible just for you. I put demo in and let's click next. Don't be scared by seeing a lot of fields and menu items. It's really simple. Let's start from the brain of your chatbot. We will finish with visuals at the end. 

In the flow Builder, let's drag the message block here. We will input the first meaningful message. I like this separated from the greeting which we will add later. Click on the three dots in the corner and add the text. For example, how can I assist? AI assistant will say this message right after the greeting and it will wait for the user to reply. 

Save message and then let's drag AI mode block and attach it to the bottom of the message block. Click on the three dots to edit and in the business context field we will be able to copy and paste all the texts from your website. This is limited to 65,000 characters. So this is where the meat of this optimal creation flow lies. 

I found a random large website for this example. Why large? Because it's harder to achieve great results with larger site or it involves more manual labor. So let's do the most difficult thing for this example so you could see that it can be done easily and deliver great results. As you saw me going through menu, this site has many pages. So let's scrape them all to a single file. For this, I will use website content crawler tool on Appify platform. This is very powerful scraper, but it can be as simple as copy pasting website address to the start URLs field and clicking start button. 

Below in the page, if your site is unusual and something is not working, you can play around with settings to achieve the result. But usually this is not needed. It takes some time to scrape the website. You can just leave it working and return later. Soon I'll pause the video recording and we'll continue after it finishes so you won't get bored. 

Now you can see that scraping finished. It took less than 12 minutes to complete and usage cost was 68. Cost depends on how long the scraping is taking, so the larger the site, the longer it takes. But considering we are scraping very large website and it's cheaper than a buck, that sounds like a good deal. Let's go to storage Tab and choose selected Fields. I usually

Select URL and text and click download. Usually, the URL field is not needed, but I selected it just to show that you can add also page links to the knowledge base we will be creating for AI assistant. I'd say having all the page links in AI is most useful for small websites. You can see that all the website texts were scraped and put into the file. 

Now we want to shorten all this huge text to 65,000 characters length as this is the limit of our AI Bots platform. Here, long summary tools shine. Chat GPT, Gemini, or Claude won't provide custom length summary. Here, I pasted all the text from the file, and as you can see, it's almost 2 million characters long. That would crash regular AI models. 

If you don't want to copy paste, you can also upload the file. This may be handy if you have an older computer which slows down when working with large texts. Let's choose target summary length 62,000 characters. We will add some additional instructions so it makes sense to keep this a little bit shorter than the maximum allowed amount at Skydis platform. 

But having it at the length near the limit will keep most details from the website, so AI will have the most knowledge possible. This will result in the most accurate answers when the site visitors will be talking to AI assistant.

Way this free to start and generated texts usually costs just cents in AI credits to depending on the length. I'd say summarizing 2 million character long text is probably the more extreme example. Most sites are smaller but this provides the freedom to build good AI Bots even for the largest sites. 

So as you can see it gave me the optimal length text which I can easily copy with the button. Full text is copied. Let's go back to our platform and paste. As a business context we had this open before in the flow Builder block called AI mode. If you forgot you can just rewind back or look this video the second time for the best result. 

We would like to add some additional instructions to the bot. You can write this now or if you create multiple chat Bots you can write a template once and just copy paste this pre-written template and change what's needed. Paste these instructions above the context generated with long summary tool. 

I'll read my template so you have a better idea what these instructions may look like. Roll you are an exceptional salesperson AI virtual assistant chatbot in the left corner of LM disease.org website in medical industry. Objective your main objective is to get contacts of the visitors. Additionally answer any site visitor questions. Also help convert more visitors to paying customers. 

First message written to site visitor: Hi, how can I assist you? At the end of your first answer, always ask visitor the following data. If visitor declines to answer, do not push him to do so. 

But ask one thing at a time, not all three in a single question. Make question look natural and unintrusive: name, email, phone number. For example, first ask name, then email, and only then phone number. 

If user is answering first question, continue asking till visitor answers all the questions. If user does not answer some question, feel free to ask same or other unanswered question later. 

Style: Your communication style should be professional yet engaging. Always make your responses shorter than 45 words, with use of emojis when appropriate. 

Context: So you can see that all the scraped and shortened text is added as the context below. You can put anything in Block name; this is not important. But never forget to set business name; this is very important for AI assistant to correctly act as your business representative. 

Yeah, we have added instruction to make responses shorter than 45 words, so we can add large number in maximum reply length like 2,000. Actually, I never experienced that AI bot would provide answer much longer than we wrote in the instruction. I added a.

Large number here just to be safe. An answer won't be cut off in some extreme case. Let's set 10 as the number of minutes after which you will receive full conversation via email. Click save message. Your information will be saved to the AI block. 

Next, let's click save flow. This is very important for you not to miss. Otherwise, changes will not be saved. So after AI brain is saved, let's return to bot menu. Let's go to settings and set email for notifications field. I won't set it for the demo, but you will probably want to receive full conversations after the chat finishes. Remember earlier we had set it delay to 10 minutes after which you receive the email. 

Now let's go to widget style which you can find on the menu on the left. We can set widget Title Here. For example, AI assistant or you can set it to the brand name of the site you will be placing this AI assistant on. For the welcome message, simple Hi may be enough or you can set some more playful or more formal greeting or welcome message that resonates with your brand. 

Now let's customize it to your brand even more. Firstly, let's set Avatar. The most simple solution would be just to screenshot logo from the website. For this, I will use I screenshotter app on the map. It can be called with combination command shift a save.

Image to the computer or you may already have better quality logo file. If not, making a screenshot may be a good way in some cases. Or for better quality, you may want to edit it with some image editing software. We will not edit it for this demo, but I could recommend free and very simple image editing applications. If you don't have one, I'd use Pinta for MacOS or Paint.NET for Windows. 

So as you can see, I already uploaded Avatar file and it appears in our testing chatbot on the right. One more very useful customization is color. You should set AI chatbot to one of your website colors so it would fit to design nicely. You can get color code any color on the website with Chrome extension Colorzilla. Just choose pick color from the page, move Mo on the place where your chosen color is, and click left Mouse button. Color code will be copied and now you can paste it to the theme input field at the bottom of widget style page. 

You need to remove # symbol which is before the color code. We do not need it in this field. Click save to save everything. Now on the right side, you can test how your new AI assistant works. Ask something related to your page. The more you test it, the more confident you will be that AI chatbot will represent your business in correct way and your business. 

Will get the most value out of it. So the last step is to add this to the website where this new business representative will live. Click integration code in the left menu and copy paste this single line of universal integration code to your website code below ending of body tag. 

I will probably create a separate tutorial for this, but it is really simple and fast. You can probably figure it out with some simple Googling. I hope this tutorial was valuable to you.
