Hey it's Aaron and if you're watching this right now maybe you're checking out Prolific and maybe you're wondering is this a good way to make money online. Is it legit or are there better ways to make money online out there? Let's check it out.

Now on this channel I've reviewed literally hundreds and hundreds of different ways to make money online. I've seen the good the bad and the ugly so let's find out if Prolific is good or the ugly right. Maybe there are better ways to earn money online out there.

Now Prolific is a very big market research company right. So you can come here you can click on start earning and you can start taking surveys and doing.

Different tasks and earn some money from them right. So a few different tasks here, there's some varied tasks available. Okay, you can exit anytime. All right, um, and you can basically earn some money from them by just exchanging a little bit of your time for that money by doing the tasks for them. 

Right now, the places that you can participate is not global. It is available in a lot of countries, but some countries are not available. All right, so you can see this list right here. Right, available in most of the big countries, but some of the smaller countries and some of the Asian countries, they are not available unfortunately. 

Right, but they are available in quite a few countries right there. Okay, and um, all you really need to do is sign up and then the first thing you want to do is wait for their um invite into your email.

Get verified and then the very important thing is you need to set up your profile. So it's going to take you about half an hour. They're going to ask you a lot of questions because the way that Prolific works is they're a market research company, right? So to be able to match you with the right service and the right tasks, um, they're going to need as much information on you as possible. 

Right, the more information that they have, the better they can match you with the actual tasks. All right, now a few different things that you can do. They'll have different games, uh, that have different questionnaires. They'll have different tasks where you can help to improve AI, right? And um, also share your opinions on different surveys that will help them to influence new products and new brands as they come out with their different.

Products so a few different things that you can do now. The big question is is how often do they have tests. All right now the thing is is that they say on their website that they have different tasks that launch um every few minutes. Okay now the reality is is very different. 

Right so the way that this type of website works is they're going to match you with the right tasks and the right surveys. Now unfortunately you're not going to fit a lot of the tasks that they have coming out. All right because it depends on where you live. It depends on your background. It depends on your interest. It depends on your demographic, your age, um you know your job, your career, all sorts of different things. 

Right so what you're going to find is even though prolific does pay pretty well and we're going to talk about this in a second.

Unfortunately with them you're not going to get access to as many uh tasks and surveys as some of the other websites out there. Okay so it's only going to be a match when it really is a match. Sometimes it's only one survey a month. Sometimes it could be one a week. Sometimes it could be a little bit more. Sometimes it could be a little bit less. It just depends on your luck. 

Right now when you do have a survey or task that's available the nice thing is that they pay out pretty well. Okay so it's a minimum of $8 per task right which is pretty cool. Now it doesn't mean that they're going to pay you $8 for every task that you do. But what it does mean is that there is a minimum of $8 per hour. So that means if the task takes you 30 minutes you get paid $4. If it takes you 15 minutes you're going to get paid $2 which is

Really good because if you compare it to a lot of the other typical survey websites out there. Most survey websites will pay you between 10 cents and 50 cents for 15 minutes of a task or filling out a survey, right? So for them, a minimum 15 minutes they'll pay you $2. For 30 minutes, $4, and for an hour, $8. 

So the payout rate is really high for what this is. It's surveys and doing tasks and answering questionnaires. But the problem is, you're not going to get access to that many of these questionnaires. Okay, so you know you might only get access to one survey a month, like I mentioned earlier, right? Or one a week. 

So, um, you can make a little bit from this. They pay out through PayPal. It's available in a lot of countries as we covered right here. But will you make, you know, life-changing income?

Will you be able to replace your full-time job with this? Unfortunately not. All right, but they are legit. They are free and they are available in a lot of countries. And for what it is, they do pay out quite a lot when there are surveys and questionnaires and tasks available in your country meeting, you know, matching your demographic for you to fill out.
