ElizaOS

Okay so what is ElizaOS? So ElizaOS is an AI 16z uh framework that they've built. Um they allow you to create deploy manage AI agents. It's built on TypeScript and the key features of it is it allows you to deploy various AI personalities through a character file. You can attach memory towards it with a DB system and then you can integrate with different platforms I.E clients to work with Discord Twitter and others. 

So this is the client stuff. This is the type of media that you can integrate and more of the AI features. So you can work with any open source model and it's very modular and you can make your own plugins. 

So in our context we'll be working on cloning the Lier starter running the example. Um where we get the credentials for Twitter and open router. Then we move on to creating our own character via using the Twitter scraper and then we're going to run Chill Guy. 

So let's get started. So here is the AI6 the repo. Um and we'll be going into the starter. So this is just straight TS. Um so just to bring it over just copy it. So get clone. 

Okay so I will go into this one Aliza starter and let's see what we have. Have so I'm going to bring up my ID and in the meantime we can just read this. So open agents um pmpm and.

Uh clients copy the example Etc. So uh this is what we have. Oops okay so this is the example. So let's just do a copy of this. Just rename this m. We'll come back to this in a bit. 

So basically there is a character here. So this is the default character and it's been commented out with the Eliza stuff. And here is the index file. So it's quite uh large and we have to do the npm package installs. But if we fold all basically it passes arguments, loads the character that we're going to be customizing, gets token for the providers, initializes DB, starts the client I.E Twitter, creates the agents, initializes database cache, starts it or starts agents if it's multiple, and then catches any errors and handles the user input. 

So uh let's go here. I believe it's pmpm install. Okay and while we're waiting for that this is oh they have an ElizaOS character, now a tate character and a trump character. So I haven't tried the ElizaOS one but let's try it. Um so we've this one with we going to use a client of Twitter. I believe it's just with quotation marks. Let's double check quotation marks here. 

So Eliza character we're going to use open rter. Um this is just stuff here so we can fold it and see how it will works. Let's just all setting.

Stuff. This is the system. The bio of what a lier is is the lore of it. The story of what she's been up to message examples in arrays of objects. User one says this: "Hey, can you tell me something?" And I'm kind of busy, and it's kind of tied to her personality. Different examples of this, um, adjective to describe her style, topics, etc. 

So, uh, this is the important character file that we mentioned earlier. Earlier, and let's just check in on this. Okay, so the two parts of credentials that we need to be able to run ElizaOS is Twitter and open router or R Twitter and open router. So, open router, go to this website open router.

A and this one you might be able to just sign up and start using it with the API key. But I added some credits. I think I put $10 on it. Um and these are all the different models you can use. Um and you just have to specify later. 

So with the open router uh key just add it in here. And with Twitter um we just have to add in your username password and email. Don't worry about this part for now. And then here we're just going to do a Min and Max of one to 3 minutes. Save um I believe there's the X model here that will put in. 

Okay so hopefully you've done the Twitter credentials and open router. One part I forgot to mention is in your M file is you can adjust the model that you want to use. So I just use GPT for Z mini. So make sure you do that. 

And yeah let's go back here and basically what we want to do is run our character file. So I am going to run Eliza on my Twitter credentials. So this is my CH guy that we're going to use the Eliza Persona on. First it should run all of the character stuff um and then it should log into Twitter um and then it should be able to do your first post. 

Um so we're just waiting for it to initialize. It's loading a lot of the character stuff generating text. So I think it posted the first.

Tweet and thma is just chaos magic for virgins who think seals are too cringe. So she's got that 4chan personality and it should schedule a new tweet in 2 minutes. So awesome you've got the example running and what we want to do is now kind of train a similar character on chill guy. 

And I found a there was um a type in guy and the first this one CTO one is the actual meme coin. So I'm going to go to this one which is a fan page and it's got a lot of images and stuff. Right now we're doing um just text but um we're going to try and train it on this account. 

So I'm just going to pause this there um and what we want to do is on AI 16z there is this repo called a6c Twitter scraper fine tune. So I'm going to copy that um just going to CD out and then um get clone this one. 

Um and then I'm going to CD into Twitter scraper and npm install okay. And we just need a username and password so we're going to do that in our M file okay. So so this should load up um so our example here. 

So let's oops let's rename it so put in your here. So put all of your username password stuff here so I'm going to pause for a minute um and then this should be filled and we have done this part. 

And what we want to do is run this um so I.

Think I think we did the install great. So then let's run this and the username was CH guy X. So let's run that and on the side here a new folder should appear of all the data that it's scraping. Um, so takes a while to load creating a directory come up shortly. 

Okay, so it's in pipeline CH guy today's date. Um, I'm just not going to touch it until it's done but it's clearly doing something with 600 tweets. Things are unique and then it's collecting some feedback there. 

Okay, so cool. Would you like a sample of the collected tweets? So these are some of the tweets that it's got or the reposts some summaries. So the part that we're most interested in is fine tuning and here. 

So I'm just going to take like aund of these. Let's go to here and if we look into how El lasa has been formatted. Uh, we are going to look at this again. So this is probably where we're going to use some of the examples and what we will do is copy this character and then let's call it chill guy.

Character Jason, let's call him Chill Guy. The voice doesn't matter. Role play interesting behalf the bio. Let's just call him, uh, a chill guy who is not bad by life's problems. Um, relaxed guy and easy going. The law, I'm just going to remove for now, and you can, you know, tune this to your own liking later. 

Message examples, um, hey Chill Guy, can you help with something? Um, I'm just taking it easy, simple, and then you can customize this stuff as well. Um, I'm just going to get rid of this, and then the post examples is what we'll work on. I'm just deleting all the unnecessary stuff. 

Okay, and there. So let's just format the document, and here I'm using cursor, but you can use Chat GPT or something. I'm just going to remove the um, just keep the text string and add a comma at the end of each line. Hopefully, that works okay. 

So while that's running, um, we're going to post that into our examples here, and then hopefully we should be done shortly. So it takes a minute to go line by line, but this is really cool. Um, if you want to look further into what you can do, um, you can do virtuals, you can do um, blogs and different other things. So that's great. 

Let's just accept it looks okay. We just paste this here and do that format. Okay, so Chill by Twitter.

Open router bio LW empty save and I will go back to a starter and let's run cha. So I think it might take a while. Um let's delete the um the Persona. Um don't you're going to get these notifications but I think the cookie stuff will fix it. Um but you can learn about that later. Um so it's taking a while to load but it seems like it's doing something. Um so this is the very last step so you'll be done shortly. Um it's got some of the posts it's definitely loaded the character. It's logging into average chill guy generating a text. 

Um so I believe it's posted its first text. So just another day vibing life moves fast sometimes go slow homies. Okay so the next tweet is scheduled in 3 minutes. Um but I'll just speedrun it. But overall uh you've done the eler starter run it and use the Twitter scraper and now you're running average chill guy so you're pretty much done. Um and I'm going to speedrun and show you the the next um tweet by average chill guy. 

So you've done a lot and what you will be able to do in future videos and future things that I might build is financial interactions. Um and you there's a lot to explore with ElizaOS. So this is the main repo. Um and you can work with so many different things just go through.

The documentation you can add different plugins to work with Solana Ethereum um other clients like Discord. So there's a lot that you can build on top of it. So yeah um congrats and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
