Nexa AI is now part of Qualcomm AI Hub. Its SDK continues as GenieX, currently offered as a developer preview for running models locally on supported Snapdragon devices. Developers can load GGUF models or Qualcomm AI Hub model bundles, use CPU, GPU or NPU execution where supported, and expose a local OpenAI-compatible server.

The toolkit targets application developers who control the device, model and surrounding software. Check the supported chipset and operating system before choosing a device: the current preview targets selected Snapdragon Windows, Android and Dragonwing Linux hardware. The 2024 interview below describes Nexa before the Qualcomm acquisition.
