Mapless equips fleet vehicles for remote operation and can provide trained remote drivers for dispatch and repositioning. A person at the remote controls performs the driving; onboard safety and communications support that operator. Fleet teams must agree vehicle compatibility, communications coverage, operating conditions and procedures. FORT Robotics acquired Mapless in May 2026 to combine remote operation with its safety technology. Meter Feeder also documents a Pittsburgh integration that starts a parking-billing session when a vehicle parks and ends it when the vehicle leaves.
