KaibanJS organizes an application into agents, tasks, tools and teams. Developers can assign roles, coordinate work and show progress in a Kanban interface, with logs, state and usage information available to the application. It supports model-provider adapters and custom tools.

WorkflowDrivenAgent provides a defined sequence with pause and resume points for human input. ExternalCodingAgent can connect a server-side application to supported coding CLIs such as Claude Code, OpenCode and Codex; these local CLI integrations require a Node.js environment.
